About Me
Hi, I'm Kyle
I grew up in Austin, Texas, with a passion for photography and storytelling, starting out covering local concerts and writing for my college radio blog.
After earning a journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin, I worked as a beat reporter and later as a staff writer focused on public health and social issues.
In 2023, I encountered families affected by the fentanyl crisis while reporting on youth drug prevention programs, an experience that reshaped my career.
I now work independently, producing investigative reports and podcasts on fentanyl’s impact, hoping to raise awareness and drive policy change.
